Download Update for Windows XP (KB932823) by using below link

Download and install IE8 Using below Link
http://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/internet-explorer-8-details.aspx
The Above link (KB932823) is not mandatory to install on XP machine before installation of IE8. Download & install it (KB932823) when your unable to install IE 8 in Windows XP Machine.
